Jumping to Conclusions #AtoZChallenge – Day 10

Day 10  | Letter: J

Call it a bad habit, but I am the type of person, who jumps to conclusion in every situation. It is a trait of mine, the bad one. Taking it – one day at a time is something I have just started, but my natural instinct is to jump to the conclusion.

At the time I am doing this act, I don’t even feel guilty. Are you wondering what am I exactly talking about?

Let’s have a look here:

Random Person to Me

Person: Is this dress from Big Bazaar?

Me: Yes!

(In my head, however; I jump to the conclusion that this person thinks I can only afford Big Bazaar.)

FYI – Big Bazaar is like Target.

Best Friend to Me

BFF: My boyfriend (born in the month of April) is a jerk.

Me: (APRIL!!! JERK!!!) Hmmm Great! So I am a jerk too for you.

(In my head I am crying because my best friend compared me to her jerk boyfriend, wherein she just called her boyfriend a jerk)

FYI – This is a real life story.

After analyzing the two situations it is clear that I jump to conclusions, unnecessarily. But again changing at the age of 27 is quite a task, isn’t it?

Or am I jumping to the conclusion, yet again?

I know guys this post isn’t even close to A to Z Standards, but I woke up in La La Land and realised I haven’t scheduled anything for today. I had to put words together to be in the game!
