The Messy-Organized Girl

There’s one thing about organizing things – ‘It is messed-up’. If you understand that statement, we can be friends. No! Really!

I have a best friend who is a ‘cleanliness’ freak and a mother who loves my best friend for the same. Sadly, my own blood – ‘my brother’ is surprisingly clean and organized. On the other hand, I am a person who can live in a mess. The word ‘mess’ is an understatement when it comes to me.

Let me give you a sneak peek into my messed-up life – I have 1752 ‘Unread Texts’ on my phone, 46,512 ‘Unread Emails’ and the chair at my Bachelor Pad is an art of piled up clothes. There are a few people who consider I am not even a ‘lady’ because I cannot keep things clean. I won’t really blame them, our society expects women to be the one cleaning things.

The funniest part of all of this is, I know exactly how to find the specific thing in all of the mess, I know where the ‘particular text, email and bra is’.

Keeping my this flaw aside, there is this one side of me which is very organized. This is me being totally organized about a trip planning, packing for a vacation, writing an email to clients and making sure they get it on time, ordering food as per everyone’s mood and booking just the right place for a dine out. I freak out when people go on impromptu vacations with no bookings. I read the reviews of the hotels I book. In fact, I read the menu of every restaurant before heading out for dinner. I just like to be prepared and know what am i getting into.

I am not a girl who can keep the house clean but will know the exact means to make sure it ends up clean.
