Year Ending post 4: Blogging Goals, 2016

I have given up setting resolutions for the New Year, but along with my Vision Board, I have decided to set some blogging goals. This is going to help me (re)focus and shape my virtual home.

Blogging is a lot of fun, but believe me it takes a lot of effort and dedication. I have decided to set up goals so that I can achieve them. Every blogger is unique in their way, but there is one thing common – we all set up goals and these goals are supposed to solid and realistic and moreover achievable. I haven’t been blogging on my blog as a big blogger. I am nothing but a newbie when it comes to actual blogging.

My blog was started as a personal diary and recently have become more like blog topics with meaning. I have decided to give more time to my blog(s), so that I can be a full time blogger very soon.

It is time to set up some blogging goals for 2016:

  • My goal is very simple but not so easy. I want to craft a truthful and quality content for my readers. I don’t want to be pretentious in order to get some subscribers, but to get quality subscribers, who will read, comment and criticize me and my blog.

  • My second goal is to schedule and regularize my blog. Lately, I have been very lazy when it comes to posting blogs. But in 2016, I am going to blog as per the schedule decided by me which is every week – Monday and Friday. To achieve this goal I have also prepared an Editorial Calendar on a Spreadsheet so that I have track of my blog posts.

  • My last goal for 2016 is having a personal as well as professional relationship with my readers. I want to connect more to all those who are reading my blogs and are following it on a regular basis. I am hoping to arrange for some giveaways in 2016, in order to say Thank you to you guys.

I would love to know your goals for 2016. Comment below and let me know your goals.

Keep Reading! Keep Blogging! Love Thyself!

  1. I’ve been thinking about my goals, and still am. Blogging, well it’s an outlet for me and a way to connect with other people who are a bit like me. But it’s hard work, 10 times as much ‘listening’ as ‘talking’ – and I’m a talker. Why do you want to blog? That’s the question I ask myself. If we don’t know why, perhaps we should give it a miss!
