I wanted to buy a moisturizer for a long time. I am not one of those make-up freaks who would keep a moisturizer in her bag 24X7. Lately I have become one of those girls who see things online and want to buy them. Well yes I am an online Shopaholic. Big deal! As long as I don’t have a credit card to spend money its all good.
I hate anything on my face – Any lotion, foundation or even compact irritates me, but unfortunately have to apply them all. Applying a foundation is good only when you work in an A/C office and travel in an A/C vehicle, otherwise it’s best to keep the foundation aside.
So while my monthly shopping trip to Star Bazaar, I saw this moisturizer at the aisle. It is a Lakme product. I loved the the packaging of it. My mom told me, “Mita, never buy any moisturizer just because it looks good. Read about it, if it suits your skin type then go ahead with it.” I took the bottle in my hand, turned it around and was more than happy to read: ‘Suitable for all Skin Types’ I smiled at my mother and she laughed and said, “chal lele!”
So let me write a small review on this product.
Product Name:
Lakme Fruit Moisture – Daily Glow Lotion
Review:
The body is very cute (winks). Okay! So the consistency of the moisturizer isn’t thick. It’s just perfect for people like me who don’t like anything on their skin. It has a consistency that is just a bit more than that of water. It blends very well on your skin and leaves none of those patchy skin. It is a very good option for make-up base too. its got a a nice peachy fragrance, that freshens you up.
Direction To use:
There’s nothing much you need to do. Just apply it over your face and spread it evenly. It gets soaked in your skin after some time, after which you can start with your makeup.
Pros:
It has a light effect.
It has a fruity fragrance.
Too good for make-up base
Cons:
It doesn’t get soaked in easily. You need to have some patience to sit and make it soaked.
Price:
Rs. 139/- for 120 ml.
Another buy?
Yes of course! I will buy it the moment I am done with this pack of it.
Ratings:
4 out of 5
Well in short, it’s worth a buy and does suit a person like me who hates extra things on her except for clothes.

aaah nice work sweety…
I have dozen of moisturizers @ home. They beautify my shelves as if they were trophies. The only item on my face is OLAY…. it keeps acne away… brightens my ever so fair face, and I don’t know about wrinkles and fine lines… coz they don’t run in my family…. 🙂

I am maintaining simple rituals also in my skin but as a woman we need to take good care of our skin coz there are so many harmful things around us that can possibly ruin our skin, in my skin I always used moisturizer, and sun blocked if too sunny.
Just to add up mom is right we need to choose base on our skin type, If you knew you have sensitive skin, it’s always a good idea to look for a moisturizer labeled hypoallergenic. If you have oily skin, go with a light, oil-free moisturizer. If you have dry skin, get something richer. And if you have combination skin, go with a lighter moisturizer for your whole face and dot drier areas with a heavier cream, and you can use lighter lotion in the summer, and a cream or ointment in the winter.
in my face I used Olay for moisturizer, it is really effective, makes my skin radiant, and smooth and to wash it I only used mild soap and never rub u’re face using towel, to dry up just dump it…
And one more thing I never use heavy make up other wise it is needed.
